To celebrate 20 years under its present management, Maruia Springs is holding a historical photo contest to find pictures of Maruia Springs before 1990.
We would like to find out more about the area’s history. In particular we want to find historic pictures of Maruia Springs in days gone by.

How To Enter
If you have any old photos of Maruia Springs, please send to us.
The photos must meet 3 conditions as following
- Be taken near/at Maruia Springs
- Be taken prior to 1990
- Include the date/year (if you know) An estimate is acceptable
Delivery
Bring the photo and a completed form (Download form) to Maruia Springs, State Highway 7, Lewis Pass. You can see the location on our web site

Selection : from 1 February 2012 to 5pm, 19 February 2012
Prize giving announcement : 10am on 20 February 2012. Winners will be notified on our web page
Terms & Conditions
※1 Grand Prize (one couple):
Trip for two to Japan, OR two consecutive nights for the Indulgence Package at Maruia Springs, plus $500 cash for travel costs to our resort.
Japan trip includes Two economy air tickets (By Air New Zealand) to Japan ex Christchurch or ex Auckland, one night’s accommodation at Narita Airport. Must be over 18 years old, have a valid passport,and be fit to travel. Minimum stay 4 days, maximum stay 28 days. Departure/Return date can be requested, but not guaranteed. Travel must be completed before 20 September 2012.
Any cost associated with this trip (excluding air tickets & one night’s accommodation for two) shall be the responsibility of the winner

Room, dinner, and breakfast vouchers (to be redeemed by 20 September 2012)
※3 Third Prize:
All entrants who meet the conditions will receive a free pool entry voucher for two.(to be redeemed by 20 September 2012)
All prizes are permitted to be transferred. All photos will be returned to sender after the final selections. All photos will be used for Maruia Springs promotions (copyright granted). Maruia Springs accepts no responsibility for accidental loss or damage for the photos. Current employees (those previously employed by Maruia Springs from 1991) are not eligible to enter.
